Marcio holds various qualifications and has attended executive programs across Europe, Brazil and the United States including the Leadership in Corporate Counsel Program, at Harvard Business School - Harvard University and Cyberlaw Program, at Harvard Law School - Harvard University. Marcio is specialized in cyberlaw and is currently focused on providing legal expert advice for e-business and technology companies internationally. He is an expert in matters related to law and new technologies, and is consulted by many companies on issues such as privacy, information security, startups, e-commerce and international digital projects.
Due to his outlier 20-year career as a lawyer, Marcio Cots has got his US “green card” based on “extraordinary ability”.

Partner at COTS Attorneys-At-Law, a firm specialized in Cyber law, Information Technology and E-commerce based in Europe in South America. He has an MBA in Strategic Business Management from the Paulista Information Technology and Business Administration School – FIAP, and a college extension course in Information Technology Law from FGV-EPGE and specialization in Labor Law and Procedures from the Mackenzie Presbyterian University. He is also a co-author in the book on Civil Rights Framework for Internet Use –Atlas Publishing – 2014.
He has worked for over 10 years in the legal field, focused on the multidisciplinary and interaction approach of the various branches of the Law, with emphasis on e-commerce and information technology companies.
